Shop now open for browsing
We are delighted to be able to open the shop for browsing again, after a long two years. We would like to thank all of our customers for their patience and understanding and look forward to seeing you all.
We are open from 11am to 4pm Tuesday to Friday excluding all banks holidays.
It is our intention is to extend the hours and days over the coming months.
Face Coverings & Social Distancing
As a company, the safety and welfare of both our customers and colleagues has always been paramount. We will therefore continue to ask all customers to wear a face covering whilst in the store, use hand sanitiser on entry and maintain social distancing of two meters. Should you forget to bring a face covering, don't worry, just ask one of our colleagues for one when you arrive.
The face covering requirement does not apply to children under the age of 11 or to individuals who are unable to wear a face covering due to a medical condition. The face covering needs to cover your mouth and nose at all times while at Model Railways Direct. Customers without face coverings will not be allowed into the store. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Please note that we may limit customer numbers at busy times.
Our shop in Portishead is only minutes from the Junction 19 of the M5 Motorway, and within easy reach of Bristol and the surrounding area. We are close to Bristol, Clevedon, Weston-super-Mare and the counties of Somerset, Avon, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire; the Severn crossing provides a quick route from South Wales. We have free parking just outside.
