R8011 Trakmat

Use the Hornby TrakMat as a base sheet to assemble your layout as it grows. Your TrakMat will help give you a larger feel to whatever track layout you have and can be used as a template to build the whole layout. When you get to the final Track Pack E, you will have completed the layout. Don't forget that you can also add building packs - the passengers will need somewhere to board and alight the trains!

The track packs are designed to extend the basic oval. These are included in some of the sets or can be made up with the following track:

8 x R607 Second Radius Double Curve
2 x R600 Standard Straights

Once you have the basic oval simply add track packs in order. Each Track Pack gives you just the track you need to extend your layout to the next stage in the series (see the track diagrams with each track pack). At each stage you have a complete layout designed by Hornby so you get the best value from each extra pack of track you buy.
