Older Hornby Track Packs with TrakMat R8011
Previously Hornby produced a TrakMat R8011, which is no longer available. The mat, track packs and accessory packs are shown here so that customers with this older mat are able to calculate what items are needed to complete the older layouts.
R8011 TrakMat
The mat required several track packs, which are also no longer available, however the packs and their contents are listed below so that customers can order the required track to complete their layouts:
R8010 Track Pack A

Add Track Pack A to the Starter Oval supplied with the smaller Hornby train sets to make this layout with point junction and siding.

R8016 Track Pack B

R8017 Track Pack C

Add C to Starter Oval + A + B to make this twin track layout, capable of running two trains at one time if you add a second controller and transformer.
Track Pack C adds an inner track so that two trains can be run independently, one on each track. An extra transformer, controller and power clip must be obtained to provide the power and control for the second train on the inner track. Alternatively the R8201 Link wire can be used where only one controller is being used to operate the layout.

Add Track Pack D to Starter Oval + A + B + C to make this layout. You now have a whole extra outer route and a host of new train movements to try. You get an extension to the level crossing too.
