Hornby R920 Insulating Plastic Fishplates Track Joiners pack of 12

These Hornby insulating fishplates are used where electrical isolation of track is required. For analogue layouts this may be within a siding or head shunt. For digital layouts track will need to be isolated where a Wye junction or return loop exists.

Pack of 12 insulating fishplates to use as necessary with Hornby R8090 Flexible track and R8090 Semi Flexible track. Also to replace any fishplates on existing Hornby track that require insulating.

All track sections (except R8090 Flexible track and R8090 Semi Flexible track) come supplied with push fit connecting clips at each end called 'fishplates'. When you push sections together, make sure that both fishplates are properly fitted around the rail ends. If the joint between the rails does not feel smooth to the touch, then one fishplate has missed its target - try again.
