Hornby R1071 Eurostar Train Set

Nothing can beat the performance and sheer awesome elegance of the 300kph Eurostar train as it cuts through the Kent countryside heading for the Channel Tunnel and then on from there to Paris or Brussels. The stunning Hornby train set features a Power driving unit, dummy driving unit and two passenger saloons. The models include flush glazing, detailed roof panels and simulated pantographs.

The Eurostar is certainly not out of place as it powers around the large oval of track included in the set which also incorporates two sidings with the inside siding offering a place for the Eurostar to be stationed 'overnight'!

The track circuit sits easily on the 6’ x 4’ TrakMat and by adding Hornby Track Packs and Accessories Packs can soon be developed into a very effective model railway layout.
